Cheer #12

Shhhh baby, it's kay.

 Aralyn is crying, she want's the bottle I'm rushing to make her. In runs Eribella, "Mama! Baby! Baby Toe!" (Toe is short for Arrito, which is a nickname for Aralyn). She races over to her and goes "Shhhh baby, it's kay, shhhh". Then attempts to hand Aralyn her binky, which is usually where I intervene. If I don't; my almost 2 year old will try to lovingly shove a binky into the 4 months old mouth. Let's not and say we did, shall we? 

 I got REALLY lucky. See I didn't expect to have one kid, and I surely didn't think two kids was in my future. Here I am though, listening to Aralyn's swing music that Belle just turned on for her and watching Belle balance on Jordan's side. That girl's going to be a gymnast or something. The girls are roughly a year and a half apart, which I like. Hopefully as time progresses, they'll stay close. 

 I was never overly worried about Eribella being jealous of Ary. She loved my pregnant belly, all day long she would run up to me and rub my belly, "Hi baby, I lah lah" (lah lah is Belle for I love you). So I kinda always knew they would get along. 

What I got, was so much better.

That is Eribella, meeting her minutes old little sister for the first time. Upon meeting her, she chose to give her, her "gigi" which is honestly probably her most prized possession. 

It was love at first sight for Belle. She absolutely adores her little sister.

 I'm so blessed, that there's no jealousy, or animosity when it comes to them. Belle loves Ary unconditionally. She is extremely protective, and will get very upset if she doesn't feel like you should be holding HER baby. Which is exactly how she sees Aralyn. As her baby. 

 To me, it's wonderful. It still gets me, when Belle walks over to Ary just to lean down give her a kiss and tell her she loves her. To watch someone love another person so purely is magical. Eribella is the absolute best big sister, a little sister could ask for. 

 So tonight, my CHEERS! goes to Eribella, and the love she shows her sister. To the complete lack of jealousy. To the Best Sister Ever. I couldn't ask for more.
